Used College Salesmen; College Destroying American Ambition and Dream

I have a very good friend who is a used car salesman. He is a nice, polite hardworking guy, but even he admits that the used car business is a dirty and less than honest business model. The difference between him and college presidents, recruiters and professors is that he admits the dirtiness and dishonesty of his business, but the college folks haven’t got the honesty and guts to admit they swim in a college and university scum pond. In America today you can have more faith in the promises and facts offered by a used car salesman, than you can in the pomp, pomposity and poop shoveled out by the college crowd. Just like the used car salesman, the used college salesman makes all kinds of promises about how well their product will run and what a bargain it is. But when the car and college products hit the road they rarely deliver the comfort and reliability promised. And when it comes to being a bargain, both the used car and used college education eat up large sums of money and never provide the promised value and return on investment. Just as the used car salesman feeds you with bull regarding the clunker, the college professors feed you with bull regarding their inferior product.

Well over fifty percent of jobs held by college graduates don’t require a college education. But parents, local, state and federal governments encourage millions of young people to go so far into debt that they must give up marriage, kids and any kind of a sane, well adjusted, comfortable and content future. Lets hear it for the parents and government folks who convinced so many kids to be a bunch of dumb-asses willing to sell their liberty to a bunch of college loan sharks.

It used to be that a person could start out as a stock clerk at a Sears store and work their way up to store manager and perhaps beyond. But now a store manager is required to be a-hole in college debt and still doesn’t know the difference between a pair of tighty whities and crack floss. It might be said that the poor financial state of Sears is the indirect result of too much college debt. Maybe a whole lot of companies should stop looking for indebted college graduates and start looking for good workers eager to learn on the job. Everybody, including young people and the titans of business might be happier.

America would be better off without so much college debt in its economic and social system. Most college graduates look for the world to open up for them once they can cart around an over-priced college diploma. They stop being ambitious and creative. They’ve been taught to learn but not to think. But maybe that’s what most companies want, good docile economic slaves. We certainly wouldn’t want un-brainwashed kids to skip college and maybe start a business of their own. They might become competition to the current business dinosaurs that have our economy so screwed up. The increase in the intellect and debt of increasing numbers of college graduates has decreased the American character, morality and normal civilized family formation and behavior. We have become a dumb-ass nation in thinking that a college education is who you are rather than just something you get. LIBERTY IS YOURS YOU DUBMASS AMERICANS, BUT YOU HAVE TO SEEK IT EVERYDAY.

About eeseverance

Retired. Believe in liberty for all and special privilege for none. If you love liberty, never trust your government. It is your duty to always question government and keep it under your and your fellow citizens control. If we could trust government and politicians, we wouldn't need a constitution. Never trust anyone who doesn't believe in the constitution; they want to control you and anyone else they can. Liberty is yours, but you must always fight for it for yourself and for others.
