Be Selfish, Vote Your Self-Interest

Whenever a politician introduces a law, bill, bond, regulation or any other action, they are always proposing it for the benefit of themselves, their family and friends or their campaign contributors, at least their large contributors. They won’t do anything for your measly little dollar or two contribution except smile at you and tell you what a wonderful person you are, and not really mean it. Politicians, whether democrat/communists or republican/corporatists, will always tell you to vote for what is best for the community. They’re lying, they really are asking you to vote for what is best for them. The only people you should consider when you vote is you and your family. If what one of the ruling slime class is proposing does not specifically benefit you, vote against it. Your first responsibility is to constantly work toward becoming independent, free and self-sufficient. Anything that takes away from that effort weakens, demeans and diminishes the individual and family. If something is good for the community but bad for you, then it is bad, period. Weak individuals do not make strong communities. There used to be a standard followed in America called the burden standard. If a tax, levy or law was going to be a burden or byrthen (old English) on the individual, then the tax, levy or law was considered immoral if not down right illegal. No tax, levy, law or regulation should be a burden on you or your family. And you should vote against any proposal or politician that is a burden to you. Only you know what you can afford and what will make your life better or not; the community doesn’t know this and certainly no slimy politician does. Don’t let a community burden you, and don’t you advocate to burden any other individual in the community. REMEMBER LIBERTY IS YOURS; YOU JUST HAVE TO BE BRAVE ENOUGH TO CLAIM IT.

The novel, America Lost, by Ellis Severance is available at Village Books Bellingham, WA or And two other novels are on the way.

About eeseverance

Retired. Believe in liberty for all and special privilege for none. If you love liberty, never trust your government. It is your duty to always question government and keep it under your and your fellow citizens control. If we could trust government and politicians, we wouldn't need a constitution. Never trust anyone who doesn't believe in the constitution; they want to control you and anyone else they can. Liberty is yours, but you must always fight for it for yourself and for others.
