Stop Whining During and After An Emergency

Stuff happens and if you haven’t figured that out by now, you’re either a baby or are so incompetent or incapacitated you need constant care including being kept away from sharp instruments. So, you should be prepared when that stuff happens. Unless your home was picked up and sent off to Dorothy land or crushed under an avalanche you should always be prepared to pick up the pieces and take care of yourself and your loved ones. If you wait for FEMA or some other government agency to help you, then apparently you haven’t kept track of just how bad their record is. At their best, they are usually hours, days, weeks and months too late, and if you haven’t noticed it makes no difference which political poop party is in office.
This blog is particularly aimed at those folks in New Jersey and New York City, although you folks from Boston and New Orleans are on my list too. And you know what list I’m talking about. I’m a native Vermonter so I’m familiar with city folk from New Jersey and New York coming to Vermont, acting stupid and diluting the strong and self-reliant culture and genetics of a once proud state. I don’t expect much from you; you’ve become so citified there isn’t much I can expect from you. But the next time a disaster hits, maybe you could have a few cans of soup and beans on hand, maybe a flashlight and a few candles, and even a portable heating and cooking source. That way we haven’t got to listen to you whine that you haven’t had electricity for twelve hours or so, and that the grocery stores won’t open for a whole two days. You may not be ready to go into full prepper mode just waiting for the government to finally screw things up for good, but you just might want to stop being a dummy and a least be ready for the next bad stuff that hits the fan of your life; you can be sure it will.
The next time you’re in trouble you should be ready and independent enough to help yourself. It’ll give you greater satisfaction than dialing 911 and waiting for City Guy Christie or Commie Guy Obama to answer. REMEMBER LIBERTY IS YOURS; YOU JUST HAVE TO BE BRAVE ENOUGH TO CLAIM IT.
You can still buy my novel,America Lost, from Village Books Bellingham, WA or Amizon.com. A reprint of my first novel, Scavengers of God, will be reprinted this spring. My third novel,Grassroots Uprising, will be available this spring also.

About eeseverance

Retired. Believe in liberty for all and special privilege for none. If you love liberty, never trust your government. It is your duty to always question government and keep it under your and your fellow citizens control. If we could trust government and politicians, we wouldn't need a constitution. Never trust anyone who doesn't believe in the constitution; they want to control you and anyone else they can. Liberty is yours, but you must always fight for it for yourself and for others.
